 Hi Everyone,

REMEMBER: No school on Friday October 8th and Monday October 11th.

Grade 8 Science

This investigate animal and plant cells under the microscope and compare them. From there we will investigate unicellular organisms through a fermentation demo and through video resources. You will compare these organisms through a Venn Diagram. Please look at the daily schedule (linked below) for exactly what we do each day. Topics for this week:

- Plant v. Animal Cells

- Microscopes

- Unicellular + Multicellular

Grade 9 Science

This week we will finish our case studies on Interdependence and complete section 1.0 of our unit. Then, we will begin section 2.0 on reproduction. There is A LOT of vocabulary here, so be ready!! Please look at the daily schedule (linked below) for exactly what we do each day. Topics for this week:

- What accounts for variation?

- How do we describe variation? How do we create variation?

Leadership 9:

This week we will do some reflection and begin some brainstorming around needs and activities for SWL.
