September 27- Oct 1

  Hi Everyone, REMEMBER: No school on Thursday September 30th to recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We will build on our discussion from last week and relate this to structures and functions of living organisms and what they use to meet their needs. September 13-17

 Hi Everyone, Grade 8 Science This week we will beginning our unit on Cells and Systems. We will start the unit by investigating a topical question about viruses. This will lead us into a conversation about characteristics of living things and ultimately into cells.  Hi Everyone! This is a short week (Tuesday September 7-10) but there is lots to do. Please check out the information below. If you have any questions please chat with me in class or send me an email (namclean@cbe.ab.ca) Grade 8 Science: This week we will be testing your knowledge of the scientific method. We will be designing an experiment based on some everyday questions. You will design and implement a plan and then report your findings to the class. You will complete a self-assessment and receive feedback from me on how you are doing.
