Welcome!
Hello and Welcome! Today marks the return to school for the 2021-2022 school year here at SWL. I would like to take a brief moment to introduce myself. My name is Nairn McLean and I am new to SWL this year. I will be taking on the role of science teacher and science learning leader this year at Laurier. My background is in Zoology and I love everything about animals. Learning and teaching! Fun fact: did you know that the aorta of a blue whale is large enough for an adult human to swim through! Anyway... This week in our class we will be getting settled, getting familiar, and trying to remember what it means to be in school! We will also begin to practice our skills of science and the scientific method through some fun activities! 8-3: Make sure to bring in ALL YOUR FORMS ASAP! Cheers, McLean
