Grade 8 Science
This week we will continue our work on characteristics of living things. We will build on our discussion from last week and relate this to structures and functions of living organisms and what they use to meet their needs. We will work on a small research task and jigsaw conversation. Please look at the daily schedule (linked below) for exactly what we do each day. Topics for this week:

Grade 9 Science
This week we will continue our conversation about biological diversity and discuss the relationship to location. We will take a small detour from this conversation by discussing taxonomy and classification. Then we will have an activity/lab called Protective Colouration and Species Survival. We will work through this and depending on time finish up next week.
